These terms apply to your use of the website avenstra.lk (the “website”), run by Avenstra Software (“we”, “us”). By using the website, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
1. About these terms
These terms cover the website only. Any project or service we provide to you is covered by a separate written agreement. If that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement applies.
2. Using the website
You may view the website and print or save its pages for your own information or your organisation’s internal use. You agree not to:
- use the website in a way that breaks any law or regulation;
- try to get unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system;
- disrupt or overload the website, for example with malicious code or automated requests;
- use the website to send spam or false or misleading information;
- copy or frame the website, or present it in a way that suggests it is yours.
3. Information on the website
The website gives general information about Avenstra Software and our services. It is not professional advice and it is not an offer. Project descriptions are summaries: client names are withheld, and the results of each project depend on its own scope. We try to keep the content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is.
4. The AI assistant demo
The “Company assistant” on the home page is a demonstration. Its questions, answers and sources are fixed sample data, written to show how such an assistant works. It does not use any real company, person or document, and it is not connected to an AI service or to any of your data.
5. Intellectual property
The content of the website, including its text, design, graphics, logo and code, belongs to Avenstra Software or is used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, change, publish or sell it without our written permission, except as allowed in section 2. You may not use the Avenstra name or logo without our permission. Other product and company names on the website belong to their owners and are used only to describe our work and experience.
6. Enquiries you send us
When you contact us, please make sure the information you send is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Do not send us confidential information until we have agreed in writing to keep it confidential, for example in a non-disclosure agreement. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or a client relationship. Our privacy policy explains how we handle the information you send.
7. Links to other websites
The website may link to websites run by others. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, products or services.
8. Changes to the website
We may change, suspend or remove the website, or any part of it, at any time and without notice. We are not responsible if the website is unavailable for any period.
9. No warranties
The website is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises or warranties about the website, whether express or implied, including about its accuracy, its fitness for a particular purpose, or that it is free from errors or viruses.
10. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or business, that comes from your use of the website, your inability to use it, or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover any claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that we suffer because you broke these terms or misused the website.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute about them will be decided by the courts of Sri Lanka.
14. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a part of these terms, we have not given up our right to enforce it later.
